Principal Message

It is an honor to be the principal of West Point Junior High School. As an educator, I firmly believe all students need the support of a strong team including parents/guardians, counselors, teachers, and administrators to be successful. Young people are the future and I am honored to be a small part in the lives of our future leaders.

Our faculty, staff, and administrative team firmly believe in our mission statement, "Learning First." We will work hard to continue the excellent tradition that has been established at West Point Junior High School in setting high academic expectations for all students, maintaining high standards for teacher performance, and providing supportive systems to assure these expectations and standards are met.

I strongly encourage all students to be proactive in their education - challenge yourselves to take difficult subjects; explore different classes and programs; get involved in extracurricular activities; network with faculty and staff; don't be afraid to ask questions; and most of all make the most of their school years!

My background includes fifteen of years of marketing in the area of shopping centers and with an aerospace defense contractor. My favorite summer job was as a Culinary Hostess in Disneyland. I enjoy reading, music, and spending time with my family.
