On Thursday, August 27th, 2026, the National Junior Honors Society held their yearly Opening Social to start off the new school year, and it is safe to say that it was a blast!
Ninth and eighth grade members of the society got together in Mrs. Kunzler’s room, as well as the collaboration area next to it, and played humorous games. From “UNO” to “Jenga,” there were so many options for thrilling play!
In the process of all the gameplay, NJHS members also took it upon themselves to get to know one another. They shared fun facts about themselves, told people about their favorite classes, and more. From being strangers, these students quickly became comfortable with each other!
The National Junior Honors Society Opening Social did not disappoint; it was an absolute hit! We cannot wait to see what our chapter of this fantastic organization accomplishes this school year!
